While walking the streets of Boston, I decided to take a moment to look up instead of down.
Sunrays
I got this shot on the ferry ride back from Cozumel after a day of diving. Sure, I took some OK shots underwater, but this one is my favorite. Seeing the sun bursting through the clouds with the ships on the horizon was a great way to end the day.
Admiring the View
I’m pretty sure this guy was out doing the exact same thing I was. Just enjoying the sun and the waves, and checking out the view of the ruins at Tulum. Maybe he was just a bit more hungry for attention than I was, but who can blame him.
Cave Diving
A diver in front of me on a cave dive in Mexico. This isn’t a technically great shot, it is a little blurry and funky, but I really like the effect that it has. It represents what scuba diving through this part of the the cave was like. It was dark and cold, and it felt like you just had to keep focusing on the one light in front of you and keep going.
Pucker Up Fishy Lips
I wish that this was one of my scuba diving photos but it is not. Instead it was taken in a fish tank, but I like it anyway. This little fish was puckering up for someone!
Foggy Hillside
The hike around Mt. Tamalpais has many different scenes to it. Dry hillsides, lush rivers, ocean views and forests to name a few. During this particular part of the hike we were surrounded by dry grass and wet fog, an odd combo.
Every Color
An interesting sculpture in Sacramento that contains almost every color of the rainbow. The way this shot turned out reminded me a little bit of the colors of Easter so this was a good day to post it. I took this in front of what used to be a paint store, so the wild display of colors makes perfect sense.
