Boston Skyline

I’ve been in Boston quite a bit recently, so I decided to enjoy this particularly cold night out at Piers Park photographing the city. A few tiny clouds rolled in at just the right time to make things a bit more interesting.

Vertigo Street

I like cities, I like buildings, but I liked this particular street a little bit more at an angle.

A Bend in the River

Actually this isn’t a river, it is the ocean receding at low tide, but the crazy path the water chose to take is worth noting. I could have sat here all night taking photos of the dramatic sky, but the tide was coming back in and my path home was getting wetter by the second.

Bottom of the Stairs

The view of the bottom of some of the 294 steps to the top of the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston. I’m a photographer, but I’m also an engineer so I was impressed with the structure and the patterns inside of the tower.

The Breakwater

When I was in Cape Cod I of course wanted to see the two lighthouses out at the very tip of the Cape. I was able to make it to one, and this was the very breakwater I crossed to get there. The view on the way back was stunning!

Snowy Mansion

It still feels a little like winter here, so I’m going to take this opportunity to post a snowy photo. The way the weather has been here I wouldn’t be surprised to see this winter scene again before summer finally comes!

The Majestic Theatre

I found the Majestic in Boston while out on a walk one night. The illuminated windows caught my attention and were all the convincing I needed to take this photo.

Boston Commons Stroll

Just out for a walk in Boston Commons.

Steeple Sundown

An old church steeple at sundown. I like the way it is reaching towards the whispy clouds in the sky.

Not Spring Yet

It isn’t quite spring yet, at least not if this tree has anything to say about it!
