Boston Commons Stroll

Just out for a walk in Boston Commons.

Charles River

The Charles River surrounded by the city of Boston. I had a hell of a time getting this shot. There was a small tripod involved, lots of lights behind me reflecting on the glass, and oh yeah, tons of crazy kids jumping around so much the whole building was shaking. I was able to eek this out, and I don’t think it is half bad!

Dinner and a Show

Dinner and a show, where the dinner really is the show. The Kitchen in Sacramento is an amazing place. The meal itself is probably the best I have ever had, but you also get an evening of entertainment from the great staff there. No detail is overlooked. If you are in the area I highly recommend you check it out.

Chicago Sunset

A favorite view of mine, and a fantastic sunset. I like the almost purple color in the sky with the intense orange reflected by the city skyline.

Four Leaves

I seem to be doing things involving combinations of four and one recently. In this case, four bright green leaves and one worm like thing that snuck into my photo. I didn’t notice him at the time, but there he is!

Brightly Lit Vineyard

This vineyard was absolutely glowing. Everything about it, from the grass to the leaves to the sky was alive with light.

Four Clouds, One Moon

A ferry ride home from Cozumel made for a great trip, and a view of some interesting cloud formations such as these four offsetting the moon.

Architectural Details

Detroit Central Station has some great architectural details, and probably some great bones, but there are many areas of the building that could use some work. Take a minute and focus on some of the beautiful features instead of the aspects that are less than perfect.

Steeple Sundown

An old church steeple at sundown. I like the way it is reaching towards the whispy clouds in the sky.

Nice Prop

Electronic shutters can do amazing things, and strange things too.
