I can’t say I’m a connoisseur of jug wine, but this stuff at Preston Vineyards wasn’t half bad. Not good enough to buy a jug, but not bad.

The Dining Cave
This is part of the cave at Bella Vineyards. This empty room with a table and some dramatic lighting caught my eye, and I liked the way that this shot turned out. I thought about lounging in one of the chairs in the back until someone kicked me out, but there was to much wine elsewhere, so I had to be on my way!
Fall Vineyard
A recent trip to Healdsburg made a great opportunity for some fall photography! This shot is from Ridge Vineyards. The view from their tasting room of their vines as they lost their leaves with the hills in the backgrounds had some great contrast. Early winter weather in the area had left some snow on nearby mountains, but these were low enough to not have any snow dusting.
Mud, Grass and Grapes
This photo taken at Karmere Vineyards near Plymouth CA looks more like a painting to me. I liked the way the mud was right next to the grass, and the dark clouds looming in the background.
Lavender
This lavender smelled great, it almost made me forget that I could also have wine at the great winery where I found this!
The Pokey
The historic Pokey in Murphy’s CA. Fortunately none of us have had to do any hard time here as the accomodations do not look quite up to standard.
Winelands
At the Outsidelands concert in San Francisco, they have a huge wine tent called Winelands. This is a view of all the great wine tasting that goes down inside.
Sunset
I just had to pull off the road when I saw this. The sunset behind this tree and a truck was at the entrance to a winery we were driving by. I was lucky to be there at the right time.
