I can’t say I’m a connoisseur of jug wine, but this stuff at Preston Vineyards wasn’t half bad. Not good enough to buy a jug, but not bad.

Kaleidoscope
The crazy colors and lights in the lobby of Compuware Headquarters in Detroit looked more like the inside of a kaleidoscope to me!
l’oignon
These onions direct from the farmer’s market were too good to throw directly on the grill before being enjoyed with some carne asada. Of course I had to bust out the macro and take a few shots first. The progression of colors is what I like here, from white, to red to green.
Snowy Mansion
It still feels a little like winter here, so I’m going to take this opportunity to post a snowy photo. The way the weather has been here I wouldn’t be surprised to see this winter scene again before summer finally comes!
Architectural Details
Detroit Central Station has some great architectural details, and probably some great bones, but there are many areas of the building that could use some work. Take a minute and focus on some of the beautiful features instead of the aspects that are less than perfect.
Foggy Hillside
The hike around Mt. Tamalpais has many different scenes to it. Dry hillsides, lush rivers, ocean views and forests to name a few. During this particular part of the hike we were surrounded by dry grass and wet fog, an odd combo.
Niseko, Hokkaido
Mount Yotei located by Niseko Japan. I was here on a ski trip to enjoy the very light powder with friends, and this view of the long dormant volcano every morning was a great way to start the day.
Memories
That guy off in the distance is a great friend that I won’t be able to ski with again. This is an older photo, but I still remember this day as clearly as yesterday, along with many other amazing times. I miss you Glen.
