Taken from one of my favorite shooting locations in one of my favorite cities! This view of Chicago at night is fantastic, I shot it late at night but had enough light from the city to give it an eerie glow.

Wires Over City
Sometimes even the buses have to turn around and go back to where they came from. Such is the purpose of these wires in San Francisco. They provide electricity to the buses, and this is the end of one particular route, so the bus makes a u-turn and follows the wires back. I liked the way the center of the U stood out against the sunset that was just starting to happen.
Bangkok at Night
A scooter races by the bright lights of Soi Cowboy in Bangkok at night. We made our trip though this street short, but not before I had time to get some pictures of the neon lights and scooters racing everywhere.
Foggy Night
Milwaukee at night. This night was particularly cold with some very low cloud cover. I love the top of 100 East Wisconsin in the background, the fog hanging over the lights on the top adds a very spooky feel to this already cold and still winter night.
A Tree Between Two Roads
This tree looks lonely, it has no friends to hang out with. Instead it just has the concrete and traffic to keep it company.
Early Morning
I had time for a few quick photos on my way from the bus stop to one of my favorite sunrise locations, the bean in Millennium Park. This particular building with some morning traffic in front of it was worth the stop.
Market and 18th St.
The city of San Francisco from above. This probably isn’t the view you think of when you hear the words San Francisco, but you’ll find some very typical San Francisco elements in this photograph. There is Market Street (curved in the center) the Castro Theater, and of course the San Francisco Bay itself.
A Church by the Bay
There is an incredibly scenic and little known viewpoint in San Francisco called Tank Hill. This particular view just after sunset really highlights St. Ignatius Church, but I happen to like the layering of the San Francisco Bay and hills in the background. If you look close enough, you can even see the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge on the left.
Pick a Cab, Any Cab
I’m going to break away from my winter theme for a bit and go back to warm and sunny Bangkok, Thailand. This is a very typical line up of taxi cabs and tuk tuks. I think they try to differentiate themselves with bright colors, very different than the typical yellow we get here in the United States. It was chaos at every intersection, with cars, tuk tuks and motorbikes all racing each other trying to get through the busy streets.
Hello Seattle
The Seattle skyline is distinctive thanks to the Space Needle. A friend was excited to show off this view from Kerry Park, and for good reason! It is still one of my favorite views of the city.
