Fast and Fashionably Furious

This might not be the kind of Fast and Furious that is all the rage these days, but I’m still fully on board. If I had the opportunity to drive this Ferrari I might just take it to a screening of the latest installment of the infamous movie franchise.

Fast and Fashionably Furious

California Christmas

In my opinion palm trees look just as festive with lights as a Christmas tree does!

Boston Skyline

I’ve been in Boston quite a bit recently, so I decided to enjoy this particularly cold night out at Piers Park photographing the city. A few tiny clouds rolled in at just the right time to make things a bit more interesting.

BU Bridge

The view of the train bridge converted to a bike path from the Boston University Bridge almost gives you too much to take in at once. Graffiti, boats, skyline, all very different elements in one place. While I was standing here a sailboat slowly crashed into the bridge, and was quickly pulled away by another boat. These rental boats must get some good abuse!

The Stevenson

Call it the Stevenson Expressway, call it Interstate 55, but I call it a nice photo from the air. I was in Chicago and caught this view on my flight out. Of course I was hoping for a strange and unlikely route back across the city skyline from Midway, but that didn’t happen. Then I was hoping for some beautiful light from sunset that happened a few moments before this, but they turned the plane around and went back to the gate to pick up a passenger (honestly!) burning my precious time. In the end it all worked out, and I got some nice lighting in the sky and an interesting interchange below.

I Left My Heart…

…in San Francisco. Probably somewhere by this intersection. I don’t know exactly what it is, but I always love the way the wires for the electric buses criss-cross over the intersections in this city.

Vertigo Street

I like cities, I like buildings, but I liked this particular street a little bit more at an angle.

I Can Feel It Slipping Away

This wide angle shot makes it feel as if the scene is slowly slipping away, all the way to the Capitol in the distance.

Boston Commons Stroll

Just out for a walk in Boston Commons.

Charles River

The Charles River surrounded by the city of Boston. I had a hell of a time getting this shot. There was a small tripod involved, lots of lights behind me reflecting on the glass, and oh yeah, tons of crazy kids jumping around so much the whole building was shaking. I was able to eek this out, and I don’t think it is half bad!
