A car zips by on the Charlestown Bridge. I had to find something to give this old bridge a little more action, and the traffic flowing by fit perfectly.

The Lighthouse
This lighthouse is in a unique location. It is at the tip of Cape Code in Massachusetts. To reach it, you must cross a long breakwater. I was warned by some locals not to linger too long, or the tide may come in and make for either a very wet return, or an evening out on the Cape. This isn’t exactly a sunset shot for that very reason, but I was able to make use of the sun with the time that I had.
Rocky Shores
Calm tide pools nearby, crashing waves and jagged rocks reaching up out of the ocean in the distance.
Spring in Squaw Valley
As part of my plan to not admit that it is summer, I went skiing on Saturday. There is plenty of snow on the mountain, more than usual for this time of year, but down at the base things were looking a little bit like spring.
Tulip Row
A pleasant row of tulips, leading to, well, a not so pleasant house. That old house must have a story all its own.
Big Leaf Little Leaf
I’m a big fan of the sycamore. So much so that I’ve planted a few around my home. What I was not expecting to see this morning was this contrast of a small, new, yellow leaf among the larger deep green leaves. The combination together did make for quite the contrast!
Little Fish
I was surrounded by these little fish diving in Cozumel. OK, I might have scared a few off by swimming by and bursting a few flashes from my camera!
SAVE THE DEPOT
Appropriate words written on the top of Detroit Central Station. This old train station has a long history, but now it is fenced off and abandoned. There are those that want it demolished, and those that want it saved. I can only imagine what this looked like it its day as a thriving station, but now we can only see the beauty in decay.
