One Red Leaf

It is safe to say that fall is winding down so I will have to stop posting so many leaf photos soon. I need to get this one out there before it gets too far into winter so here goes. This one red leaf on the lawn struck me as it contrasted the other mostly yellow leaves on the grass.

Sacramento Fall Street

Scenic T Street in Sacramento looks even better in the fall. The huge old twisting trees lining the street really light it up as their leaves change.

Three Pots

Pretty much what the title says, there isn’t much more to say. Just three good looking pots!

Fall Vineyard

A recent trip to Healdsburg made a great opportunity for some fall photography! This shot is from Ridge Vineyards. The view from their tasting room of their vines as they lost their leaves with the hills in the backgrounds had some great contrast. Early winter weather in the area had left some snow on nearby mountains, but these were low enough to not have any snow dusting.

Fall Ginkgo

This Ginkgo tree was just starting to turn yellow for the fall, and each leaf had a perfect gold edge to it.

Fall Leaves

The veins in these falls leaves caught my eye while I was walking around looking for fall colors. I really like the green center of the leaf with the change of colors only toward the edge.

Fall Fence Line

This old fence along a meadow in Tahoe has a perfect fall feeling to it. The colors weren’t at their peak but there was some nice contrast between the trees and the meadow.
