San Gervasio

The amazing Cathedral of San Gervasio in Valladolid Mexico occupied much of my time on my visit. Who wouldn’t be taken by the structure and the dramatic sky in the background? I arrived just in time to get a couple of shots before a huge bus pulled up and parked itself right in front and people were swarming everywhere. I guess timing is everything!

Vanishing Point

From this vantage point the old columns surrounding the ruins of Chichen Itza seem to go on forever.

Chichen Itza

The Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. A shot that has been taken many times before, but when in Rome, er Mexico, you do what you gotta do.

Has Anyone Seen My Shoe?

Have you ever seen a missing shoe on the street? I often wonder how so many people seem to lose a shoe, and not notice immediately and go back. Maybe I’m just sensitive to lost shoes, but I swear it is more common than it should be. If someone had lost a shoe, I would certainly send them here. This particular leather shoe shop came highly recommended by a friend in Mexico. We had to stop in to check it out. None of them seemed just right to me, but, if I had recently lost a shoe I would be happy to find this place!

Red Wall

I was certainly a tourist in this place, but I’m not sure that this particular travel agency was open.
