Mooooo

I’m from Wisconsin, and I haven’t shown my home state any love recently so here goes. I stopped the car to take this, but no one else driving by realized what the big fuss was about. Going Green

November sometimes means watching the landscape go from green to white. Here, the rain allows what was brown to turn to green. I hiked Mount Tamalpais to get my fill of the lush foliage that grows in the canyons.

Preparing to Stick the Landing

I will have an opportunity to photograph some birds in the next few months, so I decided to get some practice in and catch some of the last few hummingbirds of the season. This fountain is a known place to spot them, and I was able to catch this guy coming in for a landing and a bath.

Stingray

Jumping-Off Point

Return From Old Baldy

A boardwalk makes the trip back down from Old Baldy a lot less sandy. As a kid I made the trek up this 93 foot high sand dune many times. Even though I’ve summited much higher places on earth since, this one will always have special memories.

HOLD STILL

This guy didn’t give me much time to get up close and personal, but I made the most of it!
