Rushing

The top portion of South Fork Silver Creek Falls. I made sure to take a low angle on this shot to get as close as I could to the cool rushing water.

Snow Plant

If I can’t have snow in the summer, at least I can have a snow plant! I found this one on a hike above Ice House Reservoir in the Sierras.

The Teacups

I hiked the South Fork of Silver Creek in the Sierras today, and of course my camera was along for the ride. The water is high right now due to the huge amount of snow we have from last winter. This section of descending pools is called the teacups. The rushing water wasn’t very tea like, but if I try hard enough I can visualize layers of little teacups spilling into one another.
