I had high hopes of catching the one day a year where there is a clear, fog-less sunrise from China Beach in San Francisco. As you can tell I must have picked the wrong day. I decided to make the best of the early morning and was able to get some cool shots of the beach in the fog.
Four sailboats fight for position on San Francisco Bay. It sure looked much colder out there than it did from my vantage point on the shore!
I went to a viewpoint above the Golden Gate Bridge to catch sunset and later get some photos with the night sky in the background. I ended up really liking some of the ones I got before the sun disappeared, like this one of a container ship passing under the bridge.
